We are currently seeking volunteers for the following studies:
AVATAR project
Advanced approaches to fMRI data measurement and processing with a view to contributing to neurological research and diagnosis.
Requirements:
- 31 to 60 years of age
- right-handed only
- native speakers of Czech or a similar level of proficiency
- without psychological or neurological disorders
Description: The measurement is divided into two parts. One part takes place at the University Hospital in Olomouc. The second part is conducted in our CF MAFIL laboratory in Brno. The total visit time is estimated at 1,5 hours, the MRI measurement itself takes about 50 minutes.
Reward: a CD with anatomical images of your brain and a financial reward.

CoSuBr project
Impact of COVID-19 disease on brain plasticity and function.
Requirements:
- 35 to 65 years of age
- you had COVID 2 years ago and have had post-COVID problems lasting more than 3 months since the disease (and were healthy before that) / or you have not had post-COVID problems at all
- no neurological or psychiatric diagnosis
Description: Your visit will include not only the MRI measurement itself, but also a comprehensive neuropsychological evaluation by a psychologist, as well as an EEG measurement. You will spend a total of 4 hours with us. Some parts of the examination can be separated, so you would come 2x for two visits.

GLYS project
The use of glymphatic system parameters as a diagnostic biomarker of neurodegenerative diseases. Search for early markers of neurodegenerative diseases.
Requirements:
- volunteers over 55 years of age
- without neurological disorders
Description: The research measurements are performed in a single session at CEITEC and include MRI measurements, approximately 50 minutes, and a neuropsychological examination. In total, the visit will take 2,5 hours.
Reward: You will receive a CD with MRI images of your brain for your participation.

LANG-LBD project
Sentence comprehension problems and modifying therapy with non-invasive brain stimulation.
Requirements:
- 60 - 80 years old
- right-handed
- czech as a first language
- group 1: healthy seniors / group 2: people with Parkinson's disease
Description:
Group 1: One to two visits (about 2.5-3 hours of time in total), which include a neuropsychological examination, MRI scan and speech and writing recording.
Group 2: Patients only. This is three visits that will include a neuropsychological examination, MRI scan and speech and writing recording. This includes non-invasive brain stimulation in the home (10 sessions).
Reward: a CD with anatomical images of your brain, a description of the neuropsychological examination (memory, attention, visual-spatial functions, speech functions...) and a financial reward.
